Bruening Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. and Fireplaces was founded in 1975 and has been steadily growing since it was started by Bruce and Sandra Bruening. Bruening's has always kept up with the latest technology in the heating and air conditioning field, making a point to attend as many educational seminars as possible. Having installed wood stoves through the years, Bruening's made the decision to add fireplaces and stoves to their line of products. Because they felt it was important to show the different styles and quality of their fireplaces and stoves, they added over 4,000 square feet of showroom to their Mendon showroom. In 2008, Bruening's decided to expand and move their fireplace showroom to the corner of 20th & Broadway in Quincy, IL.  This showroom consists of gas, wood and pellet products, many of which are shown burning.
