Bruening Heating & Air
Conditioning, Inc. was founded in
1975 and has been steadily growing
since it was started by Bruce and
Sandra Bruening. Both their sons, Chad and Marty, joined the family
business shortly after high school and have been employed full time
since 1994 and 1997. Their daughter,
Kelly, also decided to join the family business full time in 2005. Bruening's has always kept up with the latest
technology in the heating and air conditioning field, making a point to
attend as many educational seminars as possible. Having installed wood
stoves through the years, Bruening's made the decision to add fireplaces
and stoves to their line of products. Because they felt it was important
to show the different styles and quality of their fireplaces and stoves,
they added over 4,000 square
feet of showroom to their Mendon location. In 2008, they decided
to expand
and
re-locate their fireplace showroom to 1857 Broadway, Quincy, IL. They
have a variety of gas, wood and pellet hearth products on display, many
of which are shown burning.
